Naija Street Champ season 1 winner, Rodney Edemhanria also known as‘Rodney the Monster’ has released the most anticipated video for his debut hit single ‘Babaloke’. The video which was shot in Lagos, Nigeriawas directed by Cardoso Imagery was released on Monday December 1.
Cardoso Imagery is also responsible for visuals for hit singles by AY.com, Seriki ft Oritsefemi, Klever Jay ft May D to mention but a few. According to Rodney, the video released on the Unmissable Music record label is a dream come true for his budding music career.
He disclosed that work is currently ongoing on more hit tracks for the airwaves. “I am very excited and proud to announce the release of my first official video for ‘Baba Loke’. I am indebted to Unmissable Incentives Limited, my producers, ID Cabbasa, D’Tunes and Terry G for their immense contribution to my career’’ he said Rodney who recently performed at the 2014 edition of the Nigerian Sports Award alongside 9ice and Black Magic hinted that he has another two hot singles ready for release soon.
While commending Cardozo Imagery for the creativity it brought into the video by interpreting the song perfectly, Rodney stated that the video promises to be one of the best music videos for 2014 especially the ones shot and produced in Nigeria. Rodney used the medium to express his appreciation to his fans and well-wishers, Entertainment Writers, Radio presenters, DJs and VJs for their unflinching support and for promoting his music career.
